Lineage

Data lineage is a visual representation that shows the movement and transformation of data from its origin (source) to its final destination (target), illustrating how data flows through different processes and systems in an organization.

Steps to view the lineage of a specific Node:

• Right-click on the 'System3' node (highlighted in the below image with a red circle)

• Select 'View Lineage.'

The system will display the data flows of System3, as shown in the below figure. The visualization illustrates all upstream sources and downstream destinations connected to System3, showing where data originates and how it undergoes transformations.
